As far as our company is concerned, quality is a primary condition to guarantee delivery to steelworks and foundries of raw materials that are functional for their production cycles. In order to guarantee premium quality ferroalloys, in addition to methodically managing our logistic processes, we carefully select our suppliers according to purposely defined criteria. This mainly consists of:
1- Safety and compliance data sheets
We require our suppliers to deliver ferroalloys with a certificate of analysis issued by certified external laboratories. In addition, we have random laboratory tests conducted by external certification bodies, to ensure that the ferroalloys supplied to the steelworks and foundries comply with the characteristics requested in the order stage.
2- Different sizes
Our procurement logistics process takes into account the size of the ferroalloys so as to deliver raw materials bulk or packed in big bags or small bags depending on production needs. We therefore require our suppliers all over the world to deliver raw materials in different sizes, so that we can divide them according to demands and propose ready-to-use ferroalloys to our customers.
3- Regular supplies
Our policy allows us to supply just in time ferroalloys to meet the production needs of our customers without obliging them to create large in-house warehouses. To achieve this, we require our partners to be consistent throughout the year and select our suppliers on the basis of their punctual supply of ferroalloys according to pre-defined schedules.
4- Reliability
Our ferroalloy suppliers are located all over the world, from Europe to Asia, from North and Central Africa to South America, and very often they are companies with whom we have established decade-long partnerships. Their commitment shown over the years allows us to rely on consistent deliveries of premium quality ferroalloys, which is why, in addition to the quality of the materials, reliability is a decisive factor when selecting our suppliers.
